Have you tried cleaning the games? You need to mix alcohol and water, one to one, dip a qtip in the mix and run it up and down the contacts in the game. more than once sometimes. If that fails you need a cleaning kit to get inside and clean those contacts.
This is the problem with ALL CONTACT GAMES.

My nintendo 64 will turn on but won't show up on the tv screen. The red light on the nintendo is on and sometimes as the nintendo is switched on a flicker of static appears for a second, but then nothing...

Have you tried to take out the game and blow into the cartridge and into the console? Sounds rudimentary but that sometimes works on those old consoles.

I hooked up my nintendo 64, and i put in my game (Goldeneye007) and nothing show up on the screen.

This is what you should do.
Because of Nintendo 64 released a long time, it will get old and harder to plug in.

1. Make sure your three plugs (red, white and yellow) have pressed firmly on the TV.

2. If that doesn't work, then you need to blow air on the bottom of the Game Pak (where the bronze chips are), do not attempt to put water or germs on it, otherwise it will not work.

3. If that doesn't work, make sure there is a red light on the console if it doesn't, make sure you plugged it in firmly.

4. If that doesn't work, you must bring the console, to any retails for repair.
