Too many variables to give a quote, even harder without the bike in hand. Mechanical and cosmetic condition, amount of original equipment, specific model and year (women's bikes worth much less) size of your city (or subtract shipping/driving cost). Google "Western Flyer bike" and do your own research. Remember asking price is not necessarily a good guide to value.

Hi,

Please search ebay for the product and use the prices listed to gauge the value of the product. You can also your local history museum or the Smithsonian institute in order to get a better idea of the value of that vehicle. Thank you.

What is the value of my 1950s western flyer womens bicycle its poor shape a lot of rust green color and all original

If it is rusty and in poor shape it is pretty well garbage. Might get twenty dollars if the tires are good and its ride able.

I am trying to find the worth of a bicycle I am interested in buying. The serial number on the tree is J96268. It is a Western Auto Western Flyer, very cool, cant find anything else like it online

Obviously the seller thinks the worth is $1000. It is worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay for it. You are best off looking for a website devoted to antique bikes Google Western Auto Western Flyer serial number and research the sites that come up. But it is impossible to give any kind of close estimate for a bike that is rare and not in one's immediate presence, let alone its worth to a particular buyer. If you like it and can afford it, then buy it, or make an offer you can afford if possible.

What year is my western Flyer serial number B37483?

Unfortunately, these older bike serial numbers for manufacturers that are out of business are very hard to determine the year. There are several sites which may assist you. Put vintage bikes or "Western Flyer" on Google. It will bring up those sites.
