Water does not enter into the ice maker

Hey Lou, thank you for your inquiry!
Based off the information you have provided water is not entering into the icemaker of your Frigidaire refrigerator. There could be a block within your water line you can clear any blocks by manually defrosting your water line. In order to do that you would need to disconnect power from the refrigerator for at least one hour. If the icemaker does not fill you could be experiencing an issue within your water valve or water line. Since it could be anyone of the se underlying issues I would suggest having a professional technician out. This will prevent any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Why is my freezer leaking water into the refrigerator ?

Hey Trudy Guldin, thank you for your post!

Based off the information you have provided its sounds like there could be a potential issue within your solenoid, water valve, or water filter of your Frigidaire refrigerator. When was the last time you changed your filter? I would remove and make sure there is no damage visible on your filter. If so, you would need to replace the filter. If it is any one of the other underlying issues I would recommend having a technician come out to the home and properly repair your appliance. -Matt

Frigidaire professional series refrigerator leaking water under door

Hello - Typically when water is coming out from under the refrigerator there could possibly be a loose connection from the house water supply line to the water valve or a cracked drain pan (located underneath the refrigerator). Try confirming that the valve is tightened. If the connection is still leaking, turn off the water supply valve and take the connection apart. You can try using Teflon tape when retightening the connection to ensure a good seal. There could also be a loose water connection to the door. This connection is located on the bottom left of the freezer door.

Water buildup inside my gold series refrigerator

on the back of the unit at the bottom, there should be a tube that you can pull off and it is probably clogged. You might need to get a towel or something to catch the water that is in the drain line. Also, be careful to get the tube back into the drain pan ( under the refrigerator) so that it doesn't drain onto the floor. This tube is attached to the line that comes from the freezer. water is shed during defrost. I had to do this about a month ago on my refrigerator at home.

Hope that helps.

It is probably water from the auto defrost feature. It is suppose to go into a pan under the machine and evaporate into the air ... yours may be over flowing due to high humidity condition in your area.

The freezer auto defrost puts a lot of water into the bottom of the freezer which in turn just freezes again. Then the next time it dumps more water there and it runs out the door.

There should be a drain hole or line allowing it to drain into a drip pan under the unit. You need to unplug the unit, melt or chip the ice out, make sure the drain is not plugged ( it could be plugged under the freezer.
