Describe your RCA M4208 MP3 Player Probmodel

Describe your RCA M4208 MP3 Player Probmodel #:m4208gr-b I think it may be 1 problem but i have no idea. ok so first of all i cant get to my main screen. the furthest i get is to the screen that says "please wait" and nothing after that. most of the time i cant even get that far i will get to the "initalizing..." screen and that usually only stay on for a few seconds. now if i try to plug it in using the wall adapter the "initalizing..." screen will come up and it will go back down after just a couple seconds. then it will come back up and back down and it usually do this until i unplug it from the wall. then if i try to plug it into the computer on the screen it will say any 1 of 3 things, usually bouncing around between them. it says: "usb connected", "usb transfering", or "battery full".lem

Try formatting it do so plug it and open my computer.go to the drive of the mp3 and right click it.in the sub menu click format(to foramt it you have to be administrator)(also be sure backup all of your music, videos, pictures, and anything that you want to save.) another thing is that the battery could be going bad.mp3 do weird things when the battery goes bad. if you got any more questions feel free to email me at gamecrazy944@yahoo.com

Hi,

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Need to reinstall data on RCA Opal M4208GR-B

I did the same thing and reformatted mine too! If you go to www.rcaaudiovideo.com and put in your model number M4208GR and click on the update for the firmware update again then it will put everything back on the MP3 player. I know it sounds nuts but it worked for me and it wont do anymore harm then you have already done ;) Give it a try. Hope it works for you like it did me!
