You can in several type of equipment, but be aware that AA rechargeables are 1.2 volts instead of 1.5 volt of regular alkaline batteries.

SOURCE: moultrie I40 getting error code 480 and wont go into auto mode

I lightly dropped my I40,about 24" off the ground,in grass.Thought I broke it.I had a 480 code. Opened battery compartment to reset and that fixed the problem. If your lucky this will fix alot of your sensitive electronics. Kill the power for 10 seconds or so and your cured.

SOURCE: moultrie D50 game trail camera won't take pictures in dark

Does the flash work? Could be flash circuit or day/night sensor. If you have another D40/D50 camera that flash works but has other problems, swap out the sensors. If not the sensor but the flash circuit then most likely one of the large charge capacitors which has to be soldered in.I use a digital multimeter with I/O capacitor test function..these caps should be about 250mfd.

Moultrie game camera flash will not work. All bulbs light up red but every night picture is so dark

Try doing a hard reset, Turn camera off remove battery's and sd card. With everything out. Push on/off for about 5 sec. Put good battery's in ig. If you using cheap battery's make sure your are using Duracell or Engerzier battery's not rechargeable. Also make sure not using a micro sd card and nothing higher than a class 4 which is the speed of the card not the size. If still need help call with equipment to troubleshoot to Moultire 800653334 option 1 and 1 for a live person.

Screen says Replace Battery after 20 minutes of being powered on

Try rechargeable batteries if your are using AAA or AA. Some cameras just stop working with the one-use batteries. If you have a lithium or other specialty battery, try getting another battery. Your battery may need to be replaced. I shoot a professional grade camera. I can shoot a whole wedding and part of the reception on one set of batteries. The brand I use is called Eneloop. You can't go wrong with these rechargeable batteries. The can be found at any place that sells camera supplies or off Ebay. They typically cost about $12 for 4 AA's. Best wishes.
