Hey Con Murphy. Try this site, it was very useful in the past, it is the user manual for that 2 way, http://www.expressfix.net/manuals/2WayRadios/OregonScientificTP329/ Let me know how it goes,\Thanks, Justin Please rate me
The Icom radio models start with IC followed by numbers and then letter(s). The BP5 is the model of the battery pack. Pls post back.
I'm not familiar with Regency U156B. However, there is a Regency RU156 which is a 16 channel UHF 25watt mobile radio which could either be crystal controlled or PLL diode matrix. Regency was reported sold to the BK Relm Company, which no longer supports older Regency Radio Equipment. There are a few sites on the Internet where you can get hold of a user's manual (some for a fee) like http://www.bearcat1.com/manuals.htm.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how thin gs turned up, the Icom model or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
