Quicken 2001 deluxe does not work on windows vista

Quicken 2001 worked on Vista until about June 10 2009. The computer is an hp and has a 64 bit processor. The Quicken worked immediately with no problems until the above date. I tried un-install and then re-install of the 2001 software and to no avail. Help!
