Question about Wenzel Swiss Gear Grand Lodge Cabin Dome Tent
The rain fly on this tent doesn't drain well because of the horizontal poles along the edge of the roof of the tent. consequently the water pools above these poles and the pressure makes the fly leak. When it is really burdened, it can collapse the tent and bend the poles. I have to get up frequently on rainy nights and push the water off the fly. Otherwise it is an amazing tent. The high roof is great, no bending over, and there is plenty of room to move around and organize your stuff. the row of windows on the front provides an amazing view and lots of fresh air. It's almost like a screen house instead of a tent.
Go to Home depot and buy a tube that fit the pole. Cut it into 5 or 6 inches for the broken areas. It costs me less than 2 dollars. Let me know how it turn out on yours.
