Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
My Dell Inspiron E1505's wireless switch seems to be off. I am not able to choose my wireless network I get the message "Make sure the wireless switch is on". I have no switch and pressing the F4 and F2 key nothing happens. I also checked Device Manager. I would appreciate help. Thank you
This happened to me using a Dell Inspiron laptop. The wireless switch was disabled and the answer was supposed to use both the blue Fn and regular F2 function key to enable wireless connection. I tried Fn and F2 together and it did not work. I tried just F2 alone and it worked.

Got to manage wireless connections or adapters and make sure the WiFi is enabled. Find the Dell WiFi application (not windows app) that is pr-installed on your system and run it. There is a "radio on/off" software button that you need to check to make sure the radio transmitter is on. most of this can be done from the system tray icons with righ click, on XP & Vista. Some Dell's have a slider button (tiny) that has the icon of a radio tower - that is the physical on/off for the WiFI card internal.
