    TheMobilian,
The washer is a Kenmore 70 Series, model 110 24722300. I hope this helps in your diagnosis of the problem.

The number one cause is a leaky water pump seal. The second most frequent cause is the tub to pump flex hose. Older washers will tend to have seal leaks. Sometimes trash gets in the water level hose and that would cause a flash flood. You know what: I have repaired a lot of washers with leaks. If you were to give me a model and make I could just about tell you spot on what was causing the leak. This is not an answer, this is a request for more info.

I think it may be the hose from the pump to the rear drain connection. Take a look at these repair PIX

Well, it could just be that the drain hose is cracked, or it could be something more serious.

Removing the cabin to see inside is pretty easy, but it varies depending on what kind of machine you have.

Check drain inm back of washer. Do not move the washer because the drain will straighten
out and you will never know if that was the problem. Look behind washer with flashlight.
Also pick up the drainhose out of washer drain pipe and watch the volume of water when its
pumping. If its restricted the cycle will end before all the water is pumped out.

Thanks for using fixya

During the water supply in the tub, the water gets drained through the drainhose. New Machine one day old. What causes that drainage. Top Loader LG machine. Model: WFT11G00TED Water keep on draining...

The problem is the drain hose is to low or to tight in the standpipe. The standpipe is your home plumbing. If it does not have an air gap around it, it will create a siphon effect. Here is a link with more info http://appliancehelponline.com/washerdrainsfills.html

My tromm frontload washer is not draining. I

in order to check the main drai hose the whole front panel needs to come come off. This is done by removing the lid.
then remove the screws that hold the main control board, then you need to remove the rubber boot from the front panel.then remove the screws that hold the front panel on the machine.

Kenmore series 90 washer keeps filling with water and won't stop during to move on to next cycle

If overfills onto the floor , then the waterlevel switch hose came off the switch behind the control panel . You have to remove the 2 side screws and tilt panel to see the hose and switch . If the water keeps filling , but doesn't go on the floor , then you have a syphon problem at your drain . As it fills , water is being sucked out by your drain due to no air able to get in around the drainhose and drainpipe . Pull drain hose out of drain and only insert about 4-5 inches into drain . If hose is tightly in drain , a parts house or home depot should have a syphon break in stock .

NOT DRAINING

means your pump is blocked. Apperently there is no main filter according to the book .
It means you will have to open the machine and disconnect the hose from the pump and clean the pump. ( i presume the pump works?)
make sure you try to drain as much of the water by putting the drainhose low into a bucket or basin.
let me know what happened

My teka dishwasher does not drain properly and there is water left in the bottom after the cycle has finished

Means that your pump is obstructed. Clean the filters out and if tha does not work clean your pump and drainhose.
That will solve your problem

Washer issues

that doesnt sound right at all, no questioning you, your seeing it happen but as a whirlpool tech for MANY years thats not a normal complaint.
i assume its a top loading washer.
besides this issue have you had other problems????
did you replace pump??? reason i ask is perhaps you switched the pump outlet and inlet hoses( some models they are actually same size)
assuming they are in the respective openings, cant really see a reason as to why it would POP off unless theres a magor back pressure issue, have you checked the drainhose itself and looked for a possible blockage??
thats a pretty hardcore spring style cl;amp holding that on. make sure it pushed allthe way to the throat of pump assy
