The next thing to check is the safety fuse inside the unit.
Here is a generic video explaining how to replace a power fuse on a microwave. Note that some special tools (ohm meter), skill and safety precautions are required to attempt this repair. If you are uncomfortable working on appliances or other electrical apparatus, it's best to consult a repair company. Your microwave may not appear exactly as the unit shown in the video.
You will have to remove the cover from the unit - It may have security screws that are a special kind and require a special tip - If you can get the cover off, with the unit unplugged, check the most likely ABC20 fuse on the small circuit board where the 110VSC power cord comes into the back of the unit - not sure why they don't leave that in a fuse holder on the back but when this goes - your unit seems dead - if you can check it on a meter you will likely find it is open circuit - replace it. Then plug in the oven before you put the cover back on - put in a half cup of water in a microwaveable mug and zap it for 30 secs - if the fuse holds and the water is hot, unplug and put the cover back on - Job well done - if the fuse pops again almost immediately then you have some other parts in that unit that are shorted and it may not be worth fixing further - they have become one of our 'throw-away' appliances
If you have 15 minutes and a screwdriver (don't know which type is used on your unit), I would unplug from the AC, remove the housing so you can see the floor of the frame and the control devices, look for a fuse to replace, keeping your hands and fingers clear of any bare terminals.
This unit may have two fuses; one for the high voltage circuit for the magnetron, another for the other parts such as the control circuitry.
The first fuse will be 15-20 amperes, the second much lower.
If the fuses are visible and close to each other, make sure you know which fuse belongs where; they will have much different ratings for current.
Since the light and turntable are working, the lower value fuse is obviously OK, so if you find two fuses, remove and replace the higher value fuse.
If you do this, turn it on and the fuse blows again, then it is time to replace the unit with a new one since the other parts that can fail require a little technical background and a multimeter.
The cost of having it done by a pro will likely amount to more than the unit is still worth.
Not really the chasiis screws for the top cover are usually Phillips head screws or Torx head screws. You can get a Torx screw driver at any hardeare store. There should be 4 screws on each side and 6 on that pak that hold the top cover on. Make sure the unit is unplugged / power off and once you remove the screws lift the top cover from the rear about 10 degress and pull it to the rear. NOTE there is a large capacitor inside the chassis that can runi your day. Just avoid it or holding a svrew driver by the handle only short across the terminals 2 to 3 times to make sure there is no charge in it. To find the fuse follow the power cord from where it enters the chassis until it terminated at the fuse block. Lift the fue out with a screw driver by placing the screwdriver in between the fuse block and the fuse. Good luck. Make sure you use the same fuse as a replacement.

The fuse is internal and you will have to remove the cover to be able to access it. Unplug the unit. Once you remove the cover, follow where the power cord goes into the unit. The fuse should be in that area. Replace the fuse with the EXACT value of that of the original one.
If the fuse blows again when you put the cover back on and turn it on, then this indicates that you have a problem in the power supply or with the magenetron.

The fuse is usually a 250V 15 or 20 AMP and can be found at any hardware store. As for those screws...those are special tamper proof screws made to keep the average consumer out of dangerous appliances. There's about 4000 volts inside a microwave oven when it is energized. That's why the manufacturers don't want the average Joe tampering with it. You can, however, buy the tool required to get inside the unit for a reasonable price. I think it's less than $30 and I know Craftsman makes it. The line fuse is located on or near the input line filter board. Just follow the input power cord and you will find it. Just keep in mind, that if the fuse is blown, it usually blows for a reason. You may have other problems. Let me know if this helps you.
