I have a 3 piece setup. Onkyio amp samsung 60" colour TV and a Panasonic recorder

Please check your Blue and Red component cables on both the recorder and your TV. One is probably loose.

You may want to go thru the setup procedure for this feature again and if no success contact Panasonic regarding this issue.

It records on one channel only, not a tuner itself...........

does your tv support 480 p if not go in your setup menu and ghange your video configurations to have 480 i or you are not in the right tv input

I have a Panasonic DMR EH50 DVD recorder and have just discovered this evening that everything on it is displayed in Black & White (tuner, recordings, menu, dvds etc). Yesterday everything was working in full colour. I have checked all my leads and have no solution to this problem and also need help.

samsung 42" plasma hooked up to LG vcr/dvd combo and foxtel IQ box. all working but only by plugging vcr cable into video camera sockets on side of plasma tv?? reason only place with a yellow plug socket? on rear of tv colours are only red,green.blue? and white. nothing for the yellow can you give any advice on correct hookup proccedure please.

If the dish box is connected directly to the TV to the RF connector set the TV to channel 3
If it is TV # 2 you can use 60 or 73 (set also in main TV menu)

cable from wall/outside to cable box in, cable box out to dvd/vcr in ...dvd/vcr out to tv...........set both tv & dvd/vcr to Ch 3.........
note you will not be able to record (probably) HBO on to DVD (vcr yes)

If you have the halo 3 bonus disk use the THX optimiser on it, if not then the setting I use are:

Viewing Mode: Dynamic
Contrast: 60
Brightness: 50
Colour: 50
Sharpness: 50
Tint: Middle (need the lenses to set it properly)
Colour balance: Cool
Colour Management: On
P-NR: Off

I got both setup through HDMI atm.

Change the AV settings on the DVD or TV to be the same format. Feeding AV into an AV-S gives B&W
