I don't know the mixsonic mp3-player but a lot of those players use a mini-USB-Port as power supply. You only need a mini-USB-cable and a 220V to USB adapter. hope that helps you.

I have a the small desktop computer version of the GX270. Can anyone recommend me an AGP card with at least 256MB of graphics memory which doesn't need a new power supply and can fit inside the computer...

Nvidia series geforece series 6 or 7 or 8, GT series are better then GS and gs are better then the LE,if you are going nvidia. ATI series I would recommend the X1600 or higher, and the HD4650 or HD3650. Usually some of them the lower grade doesn't need any power connection and if does, it's usually a 4 pin molex or floppy power adapter that are common connection to from your power supply. and if not, and you do buy a new in box retail one, they will provide you will a powersupply pin adapter.

Ms1088 doesn't power on. fuse is good. wife really likes this unit for karaoke.any ideas? are parts available? thanx.

Two sections must be checked if the power is faulty you can repair and get it to work but if the main board is faulty the replacement will be diffficult.
So check on how to repair the SMPS (check my tips column in my profile ) The details to do a preliminary check is given.
If the power recitifes the fault you will be lucky.

I have a mixsonic 1088 that won't recongnize the CD or DVD

yes, you might have to have checked out by a tech, if it's a teal good player it might be worth the repair. This problem is usually caused by a defective optical unit or an open transport connector cable.

Please find me a dvdplayer with vga port

My Yamakawa 288 with VGA out was discontinued a few years ago. I know that doesn't help you but Overstock is selling a MixSonic MS-1088(it comes in black or silver) with VGA out. I can't vouch for this player since I've never owned one. There also a few DVD players with VGA from a company called Vocopro. Again never played or even heard of these players before but Yamakawa players don't take up too many shelves in people's entertainment centers either. The MixSonic might be worth the $70 plus gamble.

Not turning on

try plugging the usb lead in and dont press  nothing on the mp3 player plug it into your computer it should switch itself on and you should be able to open the file on your computer and see whats on it if this dont work then it is beyond repair if it comes on and your computer can download files off and onto it then its is a battery problem might be that a wire has come off the battery terminal if this is the case and it works when plugged into your computer then it is possible to repair it you will need to take the case off and look at the wires that go onto the battery terminal this is usually the problem but to repair it you will need a small soldering iron but it would be cheaper to get to an electrical shop and they should do it for you for about 5 to 10 pound if it dont work when plugged into pc then ii is beyond repair sorry hope this is not the case good luck hope this is some help to you.............
