hi,
my problems is that a can't hear any sound when i whant to play a song on iTunes or whach a video on Youtube or Windowsmedia Player, yet when a warning window pops up i get a kind of anoying tone.

I can't get any sound to come out of my Toshiba Satellite. It is so odd and I can't find anything on the control panel or the volume control. Any ideas?

what kind of "annoying noise"? Is it a loud, single-toned BEEP you are hearing? You probably need to reinstall the drivers for your sound card.
