I am trying to remember a current singer. She was British, Simon was amazed when she sang on a talent show, a middle-aged woman?

I have a Singer Talent 3321 and i am having a difficult time finding the correct pressure foot for quilting on this machine.

Are you doing free-motion quilting or piecing? The Talent 3321 uses the Singer Low-shank presser feet. If you are doing free-motion quilting, use the darning/embroidery foot. For piecing, use the 1/4" foot. See https://www.singeronline.com/3321talent.html . If you are quilting in straight lines, you might consider the walking foot. The original part numbers are shown in the manual under the Optional accessories on page 9 (page 16 of the PDF). The manual is available on the product page: https://www.singer.com/Talent-3321-Sewing-Machine . The direct link to the manual is currently https://manuals.singer.com/Manuals/RetrievePDF/971 . Other sources with the presser feet in stock are https://www.sewingparts.co.uk/machines/clip-on2/singer-3321.html and https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/singer-3321-sewing-machine-parts.aspx?index=39 .

I hope this helps.

I bought a Singer Sewing Machine 3221 refurbished and they sent me a Singer Talent sewing machine. Could you tell me witch sewing machine is the better of the two.

I don't own either of these machines but taking a quick look at the amazon website listings, the features like #stiches, buttonholer, auto threader etc look fairly similar. However the talent has a a top loading bobbin which is a little easier and quicker than a traditional bobbin and with a clear cover you can see when you are running out of thread on the bobbin. The Talent often seems to ship with some bonus feet over the basic 4 normally supplied. You likely won't need to use those extra feet as they are more specialized items. The Talent has an extra foot height pressure setting for handling thick materials which I did not seee on the 3221 listing. So overall the Talent seems a little better than the 3221.

I love my 3321 talent. my question is i want to free motion quilt. how do i lower the bottom feeder feet so i can more my fabric freely.

To use the Talent 3321 for free-motion sewing, you do not lower the feed dogs. Instead, put the darning plate over the feed dogs. This darning plate was among the original accessories included with the machine. If you need a replacement, one source is https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/darning-plate-singer-416223901.aspx .

Most Singer Sewing machine manuals are available here: https://www.singer.com/support . The direct link to the manual for the Singer Talent 3321 is currently here: https://www.singer.com/sites/default/files/product_manual/SINGER%203321%20TALENT%E2%84%A2%20Sewing%20Machine.pdf . The use of the darning plate is shown on page 37 (sewing on buttons) and page 46.

I hope this helps.

Motor is running but the needle doesn't move up and down..

gears not engaging. It should have a peddle for the foot from what I remember. Bad switch
Just a guess to be honest because both hands should be needed to move the cloths

Need manuals

Most Singer manuals are available from http://www.singerco.com/support/instruction-manuals . However, you need more than the year of manufacture to determine the correct manual. If you have the serial numbers, go to http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_machine_company/serial-numbers/singer-sewing-machine-serial-number-database.html to look up the model number. The 1904 machine serial number probably started with B. Singer had ~15 sewing machine models assigned serial numbers in January that year.

I hope this helps.
