Beta blocker medicines are not known for causing a persistent cough.

ACE inhibitors certainly are (eg Renitec), but it is commonly a dry cough, not like yours.

There are other classes of medicine for hypertension, so ask your doctor what the cough is, and if you can try an alternative type for a while.

This dog won't stop 'hacking' for lack of a better word. Took him to vet , not kennel cough. A few of us think it's mental but it's driving me mental!!!!!! He doesn't seem to do it outside tho.

Hello, Teresa -

So, your veterinarian does not think your dog's coughing is not kennel cough, but did not state what he / she thought was causing the coughing.

Read the information here:
https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/health/common-conditions/dog-coughing/

After examining your dog, I am surprised the veterinarian did not state what he / she may think is causing your dog's coughing. Did you tell your veterinarian that your dog only seems coughs when indoors . . . in your home? If you did not tell your veterinarian about the coughing just indoors (in your home), make a call and report that information to him / her. The coughing COULD be due to indoor allergies.

Without a veterinarian making a full physical examination of your dog, it is a challenge to provide a diagnosis.

Best wishes.

Is it safe to eat grapefruit while taking beta blockers?

In terms of asking health questions about prescription drugs, you should ask that question of the doctor who issued the prescription or the pharmacist who filled it. I would not risk my life on the advice of random strangers on the internet who may not know their elbow from another part of their body. WEBMD.com states that grapefruit can affect beta blockers and to contact your doctor.

Playback error in youtube

Some YouTube videos are using flash encoding, since iPad does not support flash, some videos on YouTube won't work. Just watch that video on a PC or from an android device and it will work. There is nothing wrong with your iPad or the video, it's just not supported.

My doctor thinks acid reflux might be causing my cough. How does that work?

Acid reflux (also known as GERD) is when your stomach juice comes up your esophagus and irritate your throat, causing you to cough. You don't need to have heartburn to show that you are suffering from GERD. Sometimes the only symptom is the cough.

Yahoo messenger

Install only the latest firm (ie, non-beta or -alpha) release of any chat client. The beta clients are notoriously unstable and since they require pseudo-persistent connections over TCP/IP, interruptions due to buggy code can much mo9re easily bring your machine to a screeching halt, thereby requiring reboots that make you want to scream, since you were in the middle of a chat session when it happened.

General rule: Unless you are testing the beta for yourself or out of curiosity, anything you plan to use as a for real work, etc. that you want stable and consistent behavior from should at least be an official release-- and sometimes, as we know, some of those aren't very good either (*cough*... WinME, Vista... *cough*...)

Good luck!
