The Telex studio one headphones, are the only headphones that I know of that have treble bass & volume controls built into the cups they were slide controls.

I would set the controls on my pioneer receiver to flat and use the slides on the headphones to acheive the proper sound balance the controls were very effective.

SOURCE: help! no bass sound, low volume

You might want to try using a different size of the earpieces that come with it, and make sure they're inserted fully into your ear. They come with three different size earpieces because people's ears are shaped differently, and having the right size can make a HUGE difference in the sound. If it's done right, it should basically feel like you've just inserted an earplug into your ear.

If that doesn't help, and you've tried another pair of headphones to verify that it's not a problem with your sound source, I would guess you were unlucky enough to get a defective pair.

I have no control of bass or treble on my yamaha rx-v992, is this a settings issue or something else?

Maybe bass and treble settings OR the volume control IC has gone bad. Basically, all analog signals processed by DAC fed from DSP will enter this IC for bass and treble control. If it is bad, no bass and treble control can get. You should bear in mind that the setting of bass and treble is good before checking the volume control IC.

My levono C460 system sound is off so no sound what can i do?

Hi
3 possible solutions:-
• Adjust the Windows volume control - select the speaker icon from the Settings Charm or click the arrow on taskbar to show the hidden icons in Windows desktop mode, then click the speaker icon. Ensure that the volume is turned up and the sound is not muted. Adjust the volume, bass, or treble controls to eliminate distortion.
• Reinstall the audio driver.
• Disconnect any headphones from the headphone connector - sound from the speakers is automatically disabled when headphones are connected to the computer's side-panel headphone connector.

I also give a link below to a page from which you can download the full manual for future reference.

Hey! I have a problem with my sony MDR-RF81 headphones....when the bass is to loud...there volume is droping...when I listen to skirllex for example...the volume is high or low...but when the bass...

Hey there, the problem with your sony is not a hardware problem, the headphones are completely fine, its the amount of bass you are putting into the headphones, there are two solutions to this, if you're using a mobile device (Apple, android etc...), go to your app store and download an equaliser e.g poweramp, with this, you can adjust the sound going through to your headphones using the built in equalizer (usually 5-10 bands, research this if you have no knowledge of equalisers), you can use this to turn down the bass frequencies in the sound, or the only other thinkable options are if you are already have an equaliser in use, turn it down, because putting all of the bars to the top makes the sound horrible, research on some suggestions for equaliser presets (another word for equalizer settings), or just turn the volume down.

the reason this happens is because bass naturally overpowers treble, and if it is too loud, the treble and mids will be significantly quieter, headphones are a menace for this, so all you have to do is tweak the sound a little (using an equaliser) to find that perfect balance between the different elements of sound.:-) :-)

Hope this helped mate :-) :-)

I need someone who actually knows about audio and particularly MOTU microbook and headphones. I do voice transcription through headphones and am looking for clarity in audio but also a little bit of...

The realtek chip should come with the HD audio manager in the control panel if the drivers were installed correctly.
You'll want to check and make sure the equalization (under the sound effects tab) is set to none, or possibly to treble (I had to use the treble setting on mine if using a sound system with a subwoofer).
Another trick to raise the frequency of the audio is to raise the "Karaoke setting which will pitch shift all frequencies upward.

I need to find out what buttons control the bass and treble

Press in on the volume control repeatedly to step through the menu of audio functions. The
first option is Volume, followed by subwoofer (only if the subwoofer feature is currently
activated), Bass, Treble, Balance, Fader and back to Volume. When adjusting audio functions,
the unit will automatically exit audio control mode after five seconds of inactivity
