I HAVE A 1 1/2 YEAR OLD RCA HD50LPW62AYX2 which the screen will not stay on. When powering on the screen it appears to be starting normally they the screen goes blank. (the sound remains on) . The power button blinks 5 times and then after several seconds the sreen attempts to come on again but shuts off after several second. This cycle continues but the screen will not come on. I have tried a hard reset (unplugged the set for 5 hours twice). I had trouble last Thanksgiving with the brightness and a loud pop. The bulb was replaced under warranty on 12/11/06. Perfect timing again for the holdiays. Any help or suggestions are appreciated we like the picture and features of the set (cablecard) and wondered what we can expect to spend for repair and whether it is user serviceable? I am fairly technically savvy and have repaired other products when I have the right info.

My HD50LPW62AYX2 RCA TV sometimes reverses the blue and reds. The peoples faces are blue, especially the lips.
Sometimes turning the TV off and then back on again fixes the problem. At other times this correction is good for only a second or two.
Do you have an English owner's manual available on line or otherwise available?

I have the same problem with this same TV. I thought it might of been a lamp issue, but I don't think that is the problem. The TV comes back tries to come on and then comes on about thirty seconds after going out. it stays on for about a minute and goes out again. When it goes out inside the TV it around the fuses it makes a buzzing sound and you can see a fuse lighting up making a zapping noise and then the TV comes back on. I don't want to spend a lot of money for repairs when the TV is only $900 dollars now compared to when I spent $1800. If you have any solutions please let me know
I have a Sony Projection T.V. I was watching a show and the screen went black but still hear sound. I than unplug the satilite and t.v. and wait a while turn then both on worked for couple min. and went black again. So I know it not my satilite. How should I fix this or should I take it to a repair shop.
