This desk top is a couple yrs old and is malfunctioning ,by turning off. Windows has been reinstalled. Any help would be appreciated

I have the same problem with mine. I took it to a reputable computer repair store and was told that the hard drive needs to be completely erased and then all the original components restored. they were charging way too much to do it, so I decided to just do it myself. After it's done I will let you know if it fixed the issue.

try runing a virus/ spyware program that may have something to do with it
