Blinking power light is usually an indication or a problem with the power supply or the inverter in the monitor.
You would have to take it to get it fixed.
If you have the ability to take it apart and send me pictures of the boards to firstname.lastname@example.org, I may be able to tell you if it has obvious problems.
I repair a lot of viewsonic boards, I just have not done that model yet.
