try using this software to format the transcend pendrive .

You should try and blow into the usb end of the memory stick, and also into the Port on the computer where the usb stick goes in. This most often helps. If not, you may need to write to the makers of the stick, and complain. They will most often replace it for you, if you have had it less than a year and a half.

right click my computer got manage>disk management. see if it shows up at the bottom. if so make sure it has a drive letter and is formatted and is active. otherwise it might be a bad thumb drive

I tried this but my pendrive is not recognized when i plug it in
windows sees it and says its installed but there is nothing there and i
cant even format it killdisk will see it but says its busy and wont
display any other info on it
