Wife ran over large stick on our troy bilt 26j mini rider. the mower stopped and now wont turn over. all batt connections and fuse are good

You only need to access the terminals (or even positive terminal connection at solenoid plus anywhere on the frame for negative/ground to attach leads to charge.

Check your drive belt it might be badly worn which would make it loose.

you clogged the electric motor up and probably damaged it...

Engine starts, but will not move when clutch release.

it sounds like your drag link is bent.look under the front.the rod connecting the two tires should be straight.if not,straighten it and slide a slightly larger piece of galvanized pipe over the rod to stop it from bending again
