Clean the contacts between lens and body with alcohol pad. It will get rid of moisture which causes poor contact.

I have an HP J 5870 All-in-One printer; Error message says, "Carriage jam". There is no obvious jam, carriage moves freely and I cleaned up the ink puddle under the black cartridge. Can't clear the error...

If the carriage moves on it's own, then the message comes on, you may need to look for the carriage home possition sensor and clean it. the sensor will be located at one end of the carriage travel. THe carriage will likley have a tab that will pass through a slot in the sensor. the best way to clean this kind of sensor is to use canned air. good luck.

Error message on my Nikon D80

I have the same message r07 on the same camera & lens combination. It is an lens error message that the lense will not focus. You can manually focus the lens in the auto mode and the camera will allow you to take a picture. I have been told it is the MR unit and cost of repair around $135.

Beatcam SP error message

BVW-75 error 09 is "threading motor time out". Look for something obstructing the travel of the threading ring inside the deck (the ring which pulls the tape around the video head).

Even There are not papers inside the printer, at start I receive the message Paper Jam. In maintenence mode, the message is Error code 36. I tried to unplug few times, same thing. I don't know what to

Two possible causes.

1. There is paper jammed in the purge unit or on the left side of the machine. Move the print head by hand to the centre of travel and look inside at the ends of the head travel path. You might see paper jammed in there.

2. If there is no paper, you will have to take the machine apart and check the encoder strip on top of the head. It should fit into a slot on top of the head. If it is not in the slot, carefully reseat it into the slot, reassemble and test.

There are other more remote causes but those are the two common ones.

I have the same problem. Very frustrading and my solution was to toss it in the trash. Unfortunately these units don't last past 2-3 years.
