Question about Car Audio & Video
Holden vl , cant match up the wires from the car to my new cd player. there not the same color.
Three ways to do this -- either you have to find out what the wires in your dash actually do, by consulting a manual. Or, you have to do trial and error - find the hot and accessory wires with a light or voltmeter, then guess the rest until it works.
Third, and what I've been doing the past few years, is to go to your favorite electronics store and get an adapter harness. It will plug right into your dash wiring and you won't have to do any crimping, soldering, or twisting.
