The battery may have gone bad, take out the camera battery if possible, clean the battery contact points with a dry cloth, try charging again for an hour. Now start the camera and see whether the cam has the same problem? Else, you can get a replacement battery on ebay for cheap.

I lost the software installation cd that came with my vivtar camera

if you have a usb cable that came with camera, put it in the camera & put the other end in the computer, turn the camera on, the computer should read the memory chip in the camera. or take the memory chip out the and put in in a card reader and hook it to the computer

So, how high a fall can Vivtar 285HV withstand?

omg, why did it fell? as we know that vivitar flash has so many little components in the inside, since its not really made "crash proof", you might have busted it already.

is the green light only turned on and not blinking?

No connection on ps3 to t.v.

try resetting your video settings.....see if this helps, otherwise you could have a bad video cable or PS3.
Hook up your origional cable that came with Ps3..the red, yellow, white one.

1. Turn off PS3 with switch on back
2. Turn switch back on. Red light should be on.
3. press and hold power button for approx 8 seconds till multi beeps are heard. Turn off and back on. See if you get a pic...If not your ps3 might be broken, or bad video cable.
