Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition for PC
I have a Toshiba Satellite L305-S5921 notebook computer with Windows Vista Home Premium and am connected to Comcast high speed internet. After the Toshiba initial anti-virus trial period ended (about 6 months), I wanted to download the free AVG, version 8.5 anti-virus software, and the PC would not allow the downloading of the software. The message was that I had a Trojan virus, and they only allowed the downloading of the expensive software they promoted. A suggestion was made to go into “Safe mode with Network”. But I can not even access the Internet in Safe Mode. What should I do?
3 things to do
1st go here and run an online scan
Fix any errors it finds (you'll see the box to click on)
Uninstall the previous trial software
Download and install AVG
