put a colored water down the sink and dump the tank to find out were the colored water come from

Are you asking because monitor panel says full still? Not uncommon for paper or other debris to hang on probes inside tank and cause panel to read improperly. Close valve, add some water and then pull valve and listen for flow. If that water flows through ok, your likely empty.

It may be to small of a unit.

i have seen a meter lie, it shows a good circuit, but when a load is applied the circuit breaks, try a test light to see if the breakers hold
