The simplest method is to go to the hardware store and pick up a couple of "dual" solderless connectors. Assuming that your running lights flash when the alarm is tripped, all you have to do is run a jumper wire from the positive feed that comes from the "alarm tripped" wire and jump it directly to one or both of your horns, whatever the case may be. A 12 volt test probe is invaluable if you are working alone.

The alarm randomly comes on for no reason, would this be related to the BCM? If not what could it be?

Some of the sensors are going bad or are too sensitive. A motion sensor or lock sensor can be intermittently setting it off. Do you have access to a scan tool ?

I want to use my truck horn along with my alarm system. How do I wire it up?

Figure out what type of switching the horn uses. is it a positive voltage or a negative voltage. Is the horn earthed and a positive voltage is applied to make it activate. Then you would switch positive through the relay.
25259139-2hwhdwp04054ukehyojdwtcx-4-0.jpgtruck may use a 24 volt DC power system then horn may need +24 volt instead of 12V . If truck is 24 Volt then alarm system may need a 24Volt to 12 Volt converter device to power alarm system. You need to check what truck uses 12V or 24 V before connecting alarm to truck power.

Can be somewhat complicated to explain, particularly without knowing the make, model & year of the truck and which bypass was used to integrate into the factory systems. But here's one thing it might be. The Viper system is aftermarket obviously, when the alarm is triggered the siren with start to sound, and sometimes the horn will honk as well (depending on the vehicle and the bypass). If the siren isn't blaring that means the Viper system was disarmed when you unlocked the doors but not your factory security....or another way to word it is if only the horn is honking and no siren then you're factory alarm system isn't being controlled by the viper remote the way it should be. The factory disarm wire needs to be connected. It's a light green wire with a black stripe in a red connector in the Viper alarm brain. For anything more specific I'd need some more info on the vehicle. You can email me at jared@underground-audio.net if you'd like.
