SOURCE: new ipod apps don't work

this usually the case with some high graphics apps, or poorly designed/ uploaded apps, you may want to consider leaving your ipod to charge for a while, or consider the apps you download, because they may not be compatible to an ipod, or your software. (If you haven't already, look for the new ipod touch software update, for $10.00) check this out:
http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/softwareupdate.html
This might also be caused from altering your factory settings, try restoring the ipod, again, (make sure to back up all your ipod files)
Hope I helped

SOURCE: apps won't sync to Ipod Touch

Not always automatic. You do need to go into the apps tab while in iTunes (looking at the highlighted iPod) and select the apps to sync. As long as the box is checked next to it and you legitimately own the app and it is iPod Touch compatible, it should work without a hitch.

SOURCE: cant conect to the store.

In iTunes, click on your iPod (left side), then click on the "Restore" button in the middle. After it's finished restoring, click on the "Sync" button in the bottom-right corner. Then, attempt to access the Apps Store again.

SOURCE: how do you connect to app store when your ipod

Update the ipod software to 3.1.2 to address wi/fi problems, but dont update to the latest version 3.1.3 because the sneaky bastards at Apple used 3.1.3 to undo the jailbreak from Black Rain and Cydia. Theres no big improvement between 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 anyways.

Now make sure your ipod is fully charged and touch settings, wi/fi, slide the wi/fi to on, choose the same wi/fi you use to connect with your computer, and input the same user name and password, push the home button at the bottom of the ipod, then touch on Safari and the internet should be there for you.

Cheers old chap.

Will not leave apple logo

Sometimes a iPod malfunction occurs that results in the Apple logo freezing on the screen of the iPod. When this happens, toggling the Hold switch or resetting the iPod typically resolves the problem. If following the manufacturer's instructions on resetting the device fails to get a response from your iPod, however, you must troubleshoot other potential solutions. In addition, taking the time to find the cause of the problem can help you prevent a recurrence of the issue.

Battery Allowing the battery to discharge completely may unlock an iPod stuck on the Apple logo. To drain the battery, leave the iPod with the Apple logo on the screen and place it in a drawer or in another safe place. Do not attempt to use the iPod until the battery drains and the screen goes black. This may take a day or more depending on the current level of battery charge. Once the battery drains, connect the iPod to your computer or to the wall outlet using an AC adapter and charge the battery completely before turning on the device. b> Restore If the iPod remains frozen on the Apple logo after draining and recharging the battery, you may need to restore the device to original factory settings. Unfortunately, this results in the loss of all data and media files stored on the iPod. Restoring the iPod, however, does not delete the files stored in the iTunes library, so you can still get your data back onto the iPod. Follow the specific instructions for your iPod model when restoring the device. Upgrade Software Problems with the version of software installed on your iPod may cause the device to freeze. Upgrading the software may resolve the problem because the updates released by Apple often include both bug fixes and software enhancements. In addition, installing the current release of the iTunes software also may resolve the freezing problem experienced by your iPod. File Corruption Often, a corrupt file can cause your iPod to fail. If you notice that the problem recurs after playing a specific song or video, then delete that file from your iPod. If the problem occurs again after synchronizing with iTunes, delete the file from your iTunes library. Then import the original file into iTunes again or re-download the file. Typically, if a corrupted file is behind the iPod freezing, a reset temporarily restores functionality until the problematic file plays again. b> App Overload Installing apps on your iPod touch can give you more than just fun or informative software. Running too many memory-intensive apps at one time can overwhelm the device and cause your iPod touch to freeze. A single problematic app may have the same effect. Limiting the number of apps running at one time or removing troublesome apps may resolve this problem.

How To Save Battery On Your iPhone or iPod Touch

Is your iPhone or iPod Touch's battery level always depleting quickly? Do you not have enough juice to get you through the day? Here are some quick tips to conserve your battery life and help you get through the day while you are Facebooking, sending texts, and calling.

First, lets make sure you can monitor your batter level. This is how you will turn on the percentage of battery display.

1. Go to your home-screen.

2. Open up the Settings App.

3. Tap General then Usage

4. Where it says battery percentage, make sure the switch is in the on position.

Now that you can monitor your battery life, here are a few things you should continually do to save battery.

• Don't keep multiple apps running if you don't have to. iPhones and iPod Touches have multitasking to run multiple apps at once, but this can use a lot of battery. To delete tasks, double tap the home button and then hold down an icon at the bottom of the screen. Once the apps begin to wiggle, tap the X by the app to stop the task (note: this won't delete the app, it will only stop it from running).

• Another battery saving setting is not fetching email quite as often, I mean, do you really need to check your email every 15 minutes or hour? Fetching data uses a lot of battery, to disable or not as frequently fetch for data, go to the Settings app again. Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars then Fetch New Data and set it to Manually so to check email, go to the email app and click the refresh button.

• Your iPhone has an adjustable brightness, and a higher brightness wastes more battery, to change the brightness: go to your Settings app. Go to Brightness and turn your brightness down. You don't necessarily need to turn it all the way down(especially when you are in bright lighting conditions, kind of ironic that you need higher brightnesses in brighter environments), but if you are in a pitch black room, then there is no reason to have the brightness above the minimum level.

• Another good habit is turning off bluetooth and wifi when you are not using them, to do this, go to your Settings app again. Go to Wi-Fi and turn of wifi. To turn of bluetooth, go to General then Bluetooth and turn it off.

• If you don't necessarily use an app a lot or at all, turn off Push Notifications. To do this scroll all the way down on your Settings app, and choose that particular app. This will only be useful on an app that gets information from the internet. In the particular app that you chose, usually there will be a Push Notifications option, and you can disable this, this will help your battery because your iPhone constantly tries to search for data with these on. Also, when installing apps, you can disable this then.

• Another good way to save battery (iPhone only) is to switch from the 3g(fast internet)radio to Edge(slower internet) radio. On the iPhone, you have twice as much battery with Edge radio. To change between the two, go to your Settings app once again. Go to General then Network and where it says Enable 3g switch it to off. You can/should do this when you aren't heavily surfing the internet, checking Facebook, or downloading apps. Don't use this with apps that require heavy internet usage.

• One final tip to conserve battery is changing the amount of time until the iPhone/iPod Touch goes into sleep mode. If you forget to put it in sleep mode, it will stay on and waste battery in your pocket, etc. To change the amount of time to save battery, go to your Settings app again. Go to General then Auto-Lock and change it to something short such as 1 or 2 minutes.

These tips will significantly prolong your battery, use them to your advantage.
How do you bring a deleted app back

Im afraid it's not possible. After you delete an app, everything goes with it. It remembers your username because of online registries for the app but nothing else. The data you want is stored on your ipod touch. The only way you could've saved it is if you backed up your ipod touch with itunes before you deleted it. Backing up in itunes saves all "in-app" data as well has what is on the ipod touch itself.....Sorry

New downloaded apps wont work

Try removing that app from your iPod, then download it again from the App Store (free re-downloads) or if it is on your computer, simply connect your iPod and upload it back onto your iPod. That always works for me.
