Question about John Deere Garden
I did maintenance prior to it: changed oil, fuel filter, spark plug and the blades. After that, I could start the engine. When I started cutting the grass, there was a loud sound and a some smoke. Could not start the engine afterwards. I thought I put too much oil, so I drained it a bit. I have tried several things already: changed the battery, the starter solenoid and the starter motor. Double checked the spark plug, and looked at the fuse. What else might be causing my issue? Are there some safety switches that could go bad? Would they disable starter motor?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
