SOURCE: 1.3HP CRAFTSMAN CHAMPION GARAGE DOOR OPENER-NEW IN 2004

Well sounds like its a pressure setting. you said you open the door by hand? Was it easy to do? Ask your self this can a 15 year old kid open it and close it? If so then it sounds like its a presure setting There should be two blue slots on your opener with numbers 1-9 says up and down force. Turn the up force towards the bigger number. Just a little bit. But before you do that as the other guy stated make sure that your cables and springs are working. Spring depending on your doors can be in three places but we going to assume you has the most common set up so look over the top of your door (with it closed) you should eb able to see a tube running across there. and somewhere in the in middle a set of spring look at the spring to make sure that you dont see any of the tube showing in the springs. Becare not to touch the spring as they are under a lot of stress.

The button is just to the left of where all those white wires go. You may have to remove a light lens to get to it.

My garage door opener has stopped working. No

There isn't a reset but make sure the trolley isn't jammed against the bolt just in front of the motor unit.

Hi, My garage door stopped working when I tried to close it. I have Craftman 1/2H HBW0777. The Fuse went OOS. I turned it back but the opener doesn't work

sounds like the motor turning and overpowered the circuit. first you should unplug the opener test for power at the recepticle. if you have power you know its the motor. or something is caught in the track preventing the door from coming down. after you test for power.pull the release that attaches the opener to the garage door and try to manually move the door up an down. with the door still unattached look for a reset button on the back of the opener and try it without the impedence of the load of the door

Garage door motor reset button must be pressed to work again

It sounds like you have a bad wall control. You can check this out by replacing it with an inexpensive door bell button.

Remote Control closes garage door but does not open

It sounds like a case of your keypad losing signal strength enough that it cannot transmit through the closed door. If a new battery doesn't do the job a new keypad will.

Need to change the freqency on a lift master garage door

Chance are they set there remote when you were using yours. To reset your opener you need to clear all the codes on the back of your opener itself there is a square button purple or red depends on how old it is. Press and hold that button until the LCD light turns off. Press your remote to make sure it has stopped working. Then press the button again only for a sec until the light comes on and starts to flash then press your remote button. Repeat for each remote.
