Did you move your machine? It sounds like your belt has soaked up oil. You need to take your belt off and either wash it with some dish soap, dry it and put it back on or at least take a towel and keep wiping it down until you aren't getting any oil on the towel. There is possibly oil in the belt guard down by the pulley but it doesn't usually hold enough to keep throwing it out. Also see if there might be thread wrapped around between the handwheel and the machine. If thread accidentally gets wrapped around there, it can absorb enough oil when you move it, to keep throwing it out. Good Luck

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
This is a self-oiling industrial sewing machine that uses a reservior in the bottom of the unit for lubrication. There is a sight gage on the lower left side of the unit in the base that once filled with oil you will see the oil splashing as the machine operates. Since this is a new machine you fill the lower reservoir to the High mark on the sight gage and then operate it a 3000 Rpm for 10 minutes to do the initial self lubrication. Instructions are in section 6 of the users manual. The main unit is tilted on the base to service the oil in the lower reservior. They don't bother telling you that once the unit base is installed in the sewing console that you should then fill it with oil before installing the main unit on the base.
This link should download your users manual so you can read it on the computer. See page 3:

I would imagine that you moved your machine and oil soaked into the belt. There may also be oil pooled in the belt cover that is attached to your motor. Unscrew the two screws that hold the belt cover onto the motor and wipe it clean. Before you put it back on, slowly rotate your hand wheel and dry your belt with a rag soaked with Windex or alcohol. Sew on it before you put it back together to make sure its fixed.
I haven't moved it but I did take the wheel off and found there was thread wrapped around. I removed it and it is no longer spraying but still leaking. I will check the belt cover next! Thanks for your help, I will let you know if it works.
Yeah!! Good job! Other than Windex or alcohol, if you'd rather, you can try to dry your belt with a dry rag or wash it with dish soap(Dawn) and rinse and dry. If the belt is soaked with oil, it will continue to throw oil for a while. Not problematic to the machine but very irritating to you and possibly would get oil on your project. :)
PS Sometimes thread will also accumulate under the belt where it goes around the shaft that holds the handwheel. You might check that.
