To stop a MAPLE program in the middle of an execution, you can use "ERROR".
For example, this stops execution when a condition is met inside nested loops:
> for i to 30 do
> for j to 30 do
> if j=10 then error "stop at j=%",j end if;
> end do;
> print("outside of loops");
You may omit parameters like "stop at j=%",j from the error
statement, if you do not wish to make a specification.
If you don't want this to result in an error message, you can catch
the error using "traperror"
