I had horrible luck with my Weber igniter. They just don't seem to last. I replaced mine two or three times in the 10 years I had my grill, then finally gave up and started using a lighter. So, try replacing it with a Weber part, or one of the universal igniters at your favorite home improvement store.

My memory card will not stay down in my Kodak easy share z950 how can i fix it so it will stay down

There is a little spring assembly in there that pops the card out when you press a button or something. But if the button is stuck or not working the card will always pop out! If you remove the spring that will do the trick - to remove card in future you use tweezers like I do with my Garmin! Does the trick and works fine!!!!!!!!!!

,how can I remove stuck Nikon coolpixx p5200 digital camera battery

You can easily tell if the battery is upside down. There will be three brass colored contacts on the top if it is upside down. There is a yellow tab lock that holds the battery in. You must slide that tab away from the battery and a spring should pop the battery out. If the battery is not upside down, but is reversed left and right it does have a tiny bit of a wedge shape but nothing that should bind the battery to the point of damage. If the battery does not pop up after the tab is slid away (you must hold it in this position until the battery rises), try keeping the tab to the left and pressing the battery down a little, then releasing it to see if the spring will eject it. Last resort, hold the tab out of the way, press a piece of real strong adhesive tape, such as a very good duct tape on to the end of the battery and pull. I hope one of these suggestions help. Be sure to read your manual prior to using the camera again.

Sony dsc t9 battery stuck

The optimum solution for you would be to replace the battery. As far as the battery is not popping up with ease, after taking it out take a look at the small push up areas and see whether they are working fine i.e. the elastic spring underneath them are working fine and they are coming back and forth when being pushed down.

Ignite button will not press down

Since you have battery operated, electronic ignition, the AAA Battery inside the push button ignitor may have gotten lodged in the return spring, inside the battery holder. Remove the Ignitor Cap and remove the battery. Actually, if the batter is lodged in the spring, when you remove the cap, the battery will probably be stuck in it. Also, depending on how old the battery is, it may have leaked inside the holder and corroded the spring and the contacts. If so, try cleaning (removing the corrosion with a Q-Tip Soaked in vinegar. Once it's all removed, a light coating of WD40 will help prevent further corrosion..

Hopefully, the above will solve the problem. If not, you can purchase a need Ignitor Module directly from Weber

Hoped this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks and Happy Grilling!!

1992 Dodge Spirit ignition cylinder problem

I have a 93 and had the same problem. It is your 'Lock Cylinder'. To replace it, you will have to take off the steering wheel. if you have an airbag equipped spirit, remove that first after disconnecting the battery and waiting 15+ minutes. on the right side there will be a spring loaded mechanism you need to push down th a small tool. make sure your keys are ut and its in the off position. the cylinder should pop right out. get a new lock cylinder at an auto parts store. price varies, from 15 to 80 bux. beware and test the new mechnaism a lot if you can before you pop the new cylinder in. I put a new one in and it got stuck on run. it is a nightmare to take out when in run. The new one pops in with the spring loaded mechanism fitting into the hole. wiggle the steering wheel if it doesnt set all the way down at first. Replace steering wheel and airbag. test from drivers side.

Changing an ignition cylinder on a 1995 buick century

There is a special spring compressor used to compress the lock plate spring underneath it, then you will be able to remove the snap ring holding the lock plate down, and lock plate spring. You will then need to remove the blinker multi function switch. You will then have access to the bolt holding in the ignition cylinder. There are 2 wires attached to it that run down the inside of the steering column that will need to be unplugged at the base, and new wires threaded down through the steering column when installing the new ignition lock cylinder.
