Question about Insignia Televison & Video
Could very well have been shocked by lightning. If so, it is probably dead. To check, try the wall socket with a light to see if there is power there. Check the power line to the TV to see it is in good condition. Look on the back of TV for a fuse or circuit breaker (and if you have an extension cord with a circuit breaker). Use both TV mounted Power On button and the remote. If all this fails and the TV is expensive or in warranty, you have to fix or trash it.
