I put My Siemens Surpresso TK58001 through the clean cycle when the S light came on and when I used it nothing came out so I flushed the brew head and cleaned the internals. Now it leaks water.

It dispenses about half a cup but the rest of the water goes into the grounds container.

SOURCE: Slow coffee stream and smaller brew size with B70

I had the same problem. In my case the needle that pierces the cup was clogged. All you need to do is unfold a paperclip (small and not plastic coated) and push it down through that needle to clear the blockage.

My unit works better then ever!

Try adjusting the grind four numbers coarser and brew a coffee, if you are getting the same result then the brew unit is clogged and the screen needs to be cleaned.

SOURCE: My Keurig dispenses about 3oz of water on next to largest setting

I JUST fixed (I Hope!) my 11 month old B60 by taking a paper clip and a straightened safety pin to the top of the coffee maker (where the top pin punctures the top of the cup) and the BOTTOM pin which punctures the bottom of the cup. (remove the bottom dark brown holder by pushing up on it).

After one or two attempts, I ran water through it without the coffee cup, then used a decaf cup and brewed it just fine....

My Cuisinart Grind and Brew does not brew. Cannot clean or descale since the water or solution does not pass thru.

Check Water Reservoir: Ensure that the water reservoir is properly seated in place and filled with water to the appropriate level. Sometimes, the machine won't brew if it detects an inadequate water level. Check Water Inlet and Outlet: Inspect the water inlet and outlet for any clogs or blockages. Sometimes, debris or mineral buildup can prevent water from flowing through the machine. Clean any visible obstructions carefully. Descale the Machine: If the issue is due to mineral buildup, descaling the coffee maker might help. Use a commercial descaling solution or a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Run this solution through the machine as you would during a regular brewing cycle. Afterward, run a few cycles with plain water to rinse out any residue. Inspect Grinder and Filter Basket: Check the grinder and filter basket for any coffee grounds or other debris that might be obstructing the flow of water. Ensure that the grinder and filter basket are correctly positioned and securely locked in place. Clean the Brew Head: The brew head may also become clogged with coffee grounds or oils, affecting water flow. If your machine has a removable brew head, take it out and clean it thoroughly. If it's not removable, follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning the brew head. Run a Cleaning Cycle: Some coffee makers have a cleaning cycle that helps remove buildup inside the machine. Refer to your user manual for instructions on how to activate the cleaning cycle. Reset the Machine: In some cases, a simple reset can resolve minor issues. Turn off the coffee maker, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and try brewing again.
Check the tubes: Make sure the tubes are sitting in the right place and filled to the correct level. Sometimes the machine will not make alcohol if it senses that there is not enough water.

Proper way to backflush a Rancilio Silvia.

Rancilio does not recommend backflushing the Silvia. Sometimes we have to.
First remove the brew head screen. Clean the brew head screen and reinstall. The proper way to back flush is to use a blind basket. Place some Cafiza, or Joe Glow (espresso machine detergent, a level teaspoon) in the blind basket. Insert blind basket in the portafilter and insert the portafilter in the brew head. With the machine warm, turn on the brew switch for about 4 seconds. If the pump starts to get quieter, turn the pump off. Wait about 1 minute, and repeat.
Do this about 5 to 10 times until the 3 way valve runs clean. Rinse the basket and repeat about 5 times to rinse machine. Remove and brew some more through the brew head.
Never let the pump get quite when running the pump, while back flushing. This can damage the pump.

Good Morning I have a Miele CV 4080. The waste that is discharged from the brewing unit to the waste container has become a runny mess recently, it used to discharge a solid pellet.

Have you changed your type of coffee beans or grind setting recently? First of all I would recommend removing and cleaning the brew unit thoroughly (as per cleaning instructions) to eliminate any cleaning issue here...
This is sounds like the flush valve is not working correctly. The flush valve ensures that all unused liquid in tubes is flushed into the driptray and that all solid coffee (dry pellet) goes from the brew chamber into the waste container. At the end of the coffee cycle when the pump stops running, the piston in the brew unit usually moves one last cycle and squeezes the coffee pellet in the chamber one last time and the flush valve operates so that all waste liquid is flushed from the coffee pellet to the drip tray. If your pellet is wet, then this final flush is not working. There may be a blockage in your flush tube or the flush valve may be blocked. These usually block up if you don't run a cleaning tablet through the machine regularly.
My advice is to remove the driptray grill and check that the tubes running into the tray from the brew unit are not accidentally squeezed closed or blocked. Good luck.

Keurig says it is brewing. Not brewing.

I just blew a small amount of compressed into the upper needle to clean out the water line to the coffee cartridge . I guess you could use a pin or toothpick to loosen the debris where the needle enters the coffee cartridge as it seems this is where the blockage most likely occurs. I did not disconnect anything but was careful not to use to much air pressure. After cleaning the line I ran a cycle without a cartridge to flush out the line. I have not had a problem for months after doing this. I guess you should on occasion run a clean cycle.

We have a Siemens Surpresso S40, giving 'error 8'

Error 8 indicates a technical fault. Try switching off the main switch for about 1 minute and then start it up again. If the error message persists, you will have to have the machine serviced. The most common fault would be that the machine is blocked.

The light is on to clean it and I do not have an owner's manual. Can you please explain? How do I get the light to stop blinking?

Most coffee makers are cleaned by filling the reservoir with undiluted white vinegar (3 cups). (Do not add coffee.) Remove the water filtration disk if you use it before starting. Then start the brew cycle as if making a cup of coffee (including putting a paper filter or the permanent filter in the filter basket and close the lid). Put a decanter on the warming plate. After brewing, turn off the coffee maker and let stand for 30 minutes. Run another cup of vinegar through the coffee maker. Take the decanter filled with vinegar and discard the liquid (pour down the sink drain). Rinse the decanter. Fill the reservoir with clean water and put in a new paper filter (or clean the permanent filter and put it back). Again do not add coffee. Run a brew cycle to rinse the unit. Discard the water that is in the decanter after the brew cycle. Do a second clean water only brew cycle (with new empty paper filter or permanent filter after cleaning again). However, if you notice an odd taste, repeat the rinse cycle.

You can alternatively use the Mr. Coffee Coffee Maker Cleaner (mix as directed on that package). In either case, this removes mineral deposits (calcium from hard water). For soft water, the cleaning should be done every 80 brew cycles. If you have hard water, do this every 40 cycles.

The manual is available from www.mrcoffee.com/Product.aspx?pid=121 , if I have the correct product version. For some reason this site isn't coming up for me today. Check the manual to find out if there is any specific details for cleaning that aren't shared with other Mr. Coffee products.

I hope this helps.

Red descale light is on

I use distilled white vinegar, but you can use specialized coffee cleaners with this model:

Descaling
Descaling 11
Descale your Tassimo machine every three months to keep it
operating at full potential.
1
Descaling products are widely available from stores selling coffeemakers and espresso
machines. Only use a product intended for descaling. Mix the descaling product
directly in the water container, following the instructions provided on the descaling
packaging. Replace the water container on the machine.
2 Place a large cup or mug on the cup stand, insert the cleaning disc, bar code down,
and close the brew mechanism. When the AUTO light illuminates, press and release
the start/stop button. The brew cycle will fill the machine with descaling solution. Empty
the cup and let the machine stand for 15 minutes.
3 Open the brew mechanism and close it again, leaving the cleaning disc in place.
When the AUTO light illuminates, press and release the start/stop button. When the
machine stops running, empty the cup, and let the machine stand for 15 minutes.
Repeat this step two more times for maximum descaling effectiveness. Discard the
remaining descaling agent from the water container, rinse it thoroughly and refill
with fresh, cold water.
4 Open and close the brew mechanism again, leaving the cleaning disc in place.
When the AUTO light illuminates, press and hold the start/stop button to flush water
through the machine. The MANUAL light will flash. When the cup is full, release the
start/stop button, empty the cup, and replace it on the cup stand.
5 Repeat step 4, flushing clean water through the machine in the same manner and
emptying the cup as it fills. To ensure that all the descaling solution is completely rinsed
away, flush two full water containers through the machine before using it again.

I have a cuisinart Grind and Brew with a glass carafe - not pictured above. The self clean button keeps lighting up and I don't know how to run the clean cycle.

Fill the water reservoir with 2 cups distilled white vinegar and 2 cups water - then press the self-clean button. If the water doesn't start going through after a minute or two, just turn the machine on like you were brewing coffee. After the vinegar/water soultion has gone through the machine, brew one cycle of plain water to flush out the vinegar. If the self-clean light stays on, just unplug the machine for longer than 20 minutes, and the light should not come back on when you replug the machine. Good luck!
