SOURCE: Bunn coffee maker leaks all over the counter. What

there's probably a 'silicon rubber' hose that feeds hot water to the 'grounds basket'- it may be loose, or damaged. is it leaking water, or coffee?? we have a bunn 8-cup, which has a pre-heated water tank that brews a pot in about 3 min. energy waster, but when you need coffee, you need coffee!!! is your filter holder properly centered? is the carafe lid hole clean and un-obstructed?
if it's leaking water, and not too costly to replace- you may consider replacing it with a new one!
good luck!

SOURCE: My Brunn coffee maker is leaking from the bottom also.

I have the same problem and I took the coffee maker apart to find out why. The fitting for the hold in the black pastic that the water flows through to get into the stainless steel tank may not have a tight fitting with the plastic and that's where I had water leakage. I used some silicone sealant to fix the leak and the water stopped leaking!

SOURCE: Mr. Coffee CG13 12-cup coffee maker. Have used it

There is high temp tubing that may have come loose or become dammaged fromheat or the coil that heats the water may be leaking if you are using strong cleaning chemicals to remove scale from the unit. The bottom is held on with screws. Remove these and look to see what is the source of the leak.

Use your phone book or online yellow pages to search for a repair shop in your area. I suspect a thermal fuse has blown in your unit. Only an experienced repair tech can replace it. Sometimes, the cost of the repair is more than a replacement appliance.

My NHB Bunn coffee maker no longer heats the water to a high enough temperature to make good coffee, it used to . Is there a replacement termostat for this or ??????

While there is no thermostat to replace, if you will contact Customer Service with the model and code date located on the bottom of the machine, we will either replace your machine with a new one at no cost if under 3 years old. If it is over 3 years old, we will replace it at a reduced price.

My cuisinart brew and grind overflows onto to the counter also

Coffee overflowing onto the counter is a common complaint found in response to many automatic drip coffee makers. The following are potential solutions that can be used to rule out "operator error" vs. a defect or malfunction:

1. Do not "pack" or otherwise overfill the cone/basket with grinds.
2. If self-grinding your coffee beans, ensure you are using the correct grind setting for an automatic drip coffee maker. (See instruction manual for coffee maker and/or grinder.)
3. Do not overfill tank with water. Use the marks on the side of the reservoir rather than those defined by another measuring method. This is because a "cup" in a coffee carafe is defined as 6 oz, not 8 oz, and in some cases as little as 5 oz as a cup. (See your owner's manual.)
4. Make certain the filter cone/basket clicks into place and that the carafe is centered and pushed all the way in.
5. Try a permanent filter rather than a paper filter or vice versa.
6. Only use the correct permanent or paper filter (see manual).
7. Verify that the Pause 'n Serve button isn't sticking. If it is activated too long the brew will escape over the top of the cone/basket. This may be more apt to happen if the alignment of the carafe and the basket is incorrect.
8. Clean your carafe and machine with vinegar or as instructed by your owner's manual at least three times per year, more if your water supply is hard (prone to leaving water spots). A properly cleaned machine is less likely to suffer a burned out heating element, to take too long to brew a pot of coffee, to produce "off" tasting coffee, or to clog and overrun the filter basket.
9. Ensure that the coffee machine is sitting level on the counter.

Bunn coffee maker

An overflow can occur when using certain kinds of coffee or the use of a water softener, bottled water, filtered water or reverse osmosis. If you will get the model and date code located on the bottom of the machine and contact customer service, a flow restrictor sprayhead can be sent out to you that will eliminate this problem.

Coffee leaking onto to counter top

I've worked on that problem on a X9, I am not sure if the coffee/milk spout is the same but, I had to dismantle the spout and clean inserts, I also had to replace the o-rings on the spouts.

The Bunn has a crack and water is leaking .

According to the date code on this brewer, It should be still under the three year warranty period. Have her phone Bunn At 1-800-637-8606, and talk to the warranty department. If this brewer is under the 3 year warranty, they will let her know what to do with it. If not, there's just not a whole lot you can do with it, as the part you are describing is part of the main case.
