GE AEH10AMG1 was working fine a week ago. Plugged it into the same socket yesterday, and the breaker in the plug popped, and it keeps popping when we try to plug in the unit.

You have a direct short in the A/C unit probably at the compressor or your condenser fan motor. You can disconnect one component at a time to identify where it is shorting. turn power off unwire condenser fan motor secure wires so they dont touch anything plug unit in if it still pops breaker your compressor is probably bad.

My Kenmore Tumble Action Front Loaders power will not turn on. It worked fine yesterday but now there is no power what could it be?

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France @ 167:37 Sat afternoon!

You need to check the socket it is plugged into first. Try another device- maybe a kettle- to see if there is power. If not then a trip/fuse has gone on your main supply panel.

If there is power at the socket the fuse in the plug (if there is a fuse) needs checking and ,if necessary, replacing.

Come back to me on email john.cross@aliceadsl.fr if neither of the above solutions identify the fault.

Hp dv7-1245dx does not get power when plugged in

First Check your Adapter, It should have LED glow if its working
Second check that your Power Socket is working fine or not. You can try to connect with different Power Socket.

If still its not working. Remove the Battery and connect the Power. Check if its working.

Cigarette lighter fault Jaguar S Type 2005 2.7 D

Sometimes the lighter has a small built in fuse. Get a test light and check the center pin of the socket, it it does not have power, take the socket out and check the wire, it the wire has power, the fuse is bad. Sometimes you have to buy the whole socket to get the fuse, but I done know about your particular socket on a Jaguar.

Power button on front off cpu won't turn pc on

I'm afraid it's not.
A PC power supply is always in "standby", and the "power" button just activates the power supply so to speak. So if it doesn't start, it means that there's a problem with the power supply unit, the motherboard or the connection from motherboard to the button. A cause might be a power surge on the line, a thunderstorm nearby, overheating or just a production fault that finally showed up.
A PC sometimes has a power switch on the rear, near the power socket. If it's there, check if it's on. If it's not, then the PC needs servicing.
