My Juki HZL F300 bobbin case is making a terrible noise. It sounds like the bobbin is going to spin right out of it. This noise is SO loud! Do I need to oil anything? It is not even a year old.

Try installing a brand new needle. Sometimes a bent or dull needle will cause lots of racket.

You should consult your owner's manual for maintenance--cleaning and oiling instructions. Most sewing machines do require oil--some more frequently than others. Most machines also need frequent oiling in the bobbin/hook area. Be sure to use only good quality sewing machine oil for your machine--NO 3-in-1, WD-40, cooking oil, or old brown stinky oil.

If it continues to make the noise, you should probably have it serviced. Since it is less than a year old, it might still be covered under warranty, so don't delay.

My machine is stitching loud like the machine needs oil? I have cleaned it but does it need oil or what would cause it to be this way. I have had this machine 1 1/2 years

Yes, it probably needs oil. I oil mine a tiny bit every time I use it. You manual will tell you how to do the easy ones. If you take the covers off you will find more places. Just use a drop on every place you oil and put NO OIL on the belt or motor.

Oiling after something overheated isn't the solution. It may be needed due to the age of the machine, but not until you locate what exactly is making the smell, which may be the plastic near the bulb. I would take the cover off and sniff around to locate where the smell is coming from before oiling.

I have not sew with my machine in about a year or two do i oil it or just start to sew.. it not making no noise or any thing..

It depends on how many years you have owned the machine. If the machine is less than 5 years old, I would say that it is safe to operate it without oiling. This type of machine typically has few non plastic gears. If you wish to be on the safe side you can oil the machine according to the owner's manual. Be careful not to use too much oil.

Should I oil my Elna 3005 sewing machine?

Many of the new models do not require oiling.

Check the maintenace section of the manual for cleaning the shuttle area. Sometimes lint can build up and cause the machine to get noisy.

If it has been over a year since the machine was serviced, it may be time for a proffesional tune-up.

Do i need to put oil in my huskystar 224 sewing machine If so where do i put it in the machine

Check your user manual. More than likely there are a couple of holes along the lower part of the machine where the material goes (throat of the machine). Usually oil goes in those holes but only a drop. The best oil is from the bicyle shop used to oil chains--Tri-Flow. I have a huskystar 217 for 5 years and have never felt that it needed oiling. Sews like a gem.

Janome SD-2014 sewing machine dogs fails to operate in reverse

The grease has hardened and that is what makes it not work. You need to remove the spring and clean all the old grease off it. You can put new grease on if you want but it isn't necessary. The machine should be lubricated with a good quality sewing machine oil(not 3 in 1). You need to oil any place that moves and rubs, This includes the ends of each shaft, the needle bar and the cinnecting links that drive the needle bar. Nothing is permanently lubricated.. you'll find this machine will run much smoother and quieter with fresh lubrication. As a matter of fact, if you use the machine a lot, it should be lubricated once a year and never less thanonce every 5 years.
One more thing. If it is on the main shaft that it has hardened you can spray it with a mixture of fantastic, water and some ammonia. Free it up and give it a light shot of oil.
