How do i recalibrate my older esante ese?

I have an older esante ese with the touch screen across the top of the machine not along the side, when using the embroidery machine the buttons are not working along the bottom. I tried to recalibrate by holding down the start/stop button, the reverse button, and the needle position button all at once with one hand and then turning on the machine but I don't get the 1-5 with the +/- sign I get a screen with the numbers 1-30 and they don't work for recalibrating but they do show upper thread or lower thread tension for some of the buttons. Can you help?

Do The ESE ESante Baby Lock hoops fit the ESI ESante Baby Lock machines

The Babylock Esante ESE1 and ESE2 hoops are not compatible with the Esante ESI1 or ESI2 hoops. The Babylock ESI1/2 used the same hoops as the Brother PC7000 and PC7500. The ESE1/2 use the hoops that are compatible with the Brother PC6500 and PE700 series embroidery machines.

I wish that I had better news for you. This site has hoops for sale for both the ESI1 and the ESE1: http://www.allbrands.com/categories/871 . If you need hoops for either machine, use the compatibility data on each machine type to help you find more vendors that may have the embroidery hoops.

Won't work at all-esante ese baby lock

Check that the button used to snip your thread at the end of your seam is not stuck. Mine will sometimes stick and if I just touch it again it will again activate and the red start/stop button will work again.

Yes, I have a solution for this problem. Your screen needs to be recalibrated and you can do it yourself. Don't you wish they would just tell you this stuff instead of charging you an arm and a leg? Here's what to do: Before turning on the machine, press the start/stop button, the reverse button, and the needle position button all at once with one hand (one finger on each button). Hold them down and turn on the machine. What will come up is a recalibration screen. You will see the numbers 1-5 with a little plus sign beside them. Find a small blunt object (I used the tip of a mechanical pencil with the lead in instead of out) and while holding the start/stop button, touch the plus sign beside 1-5 in numerical order. Then, turn the machine off and on again in the normal way. This should recalibrate the screen. Pass it along, people! This is something no one should have to pay for!
