This fault is pretty bad to have,
The liquid you have mentioned is the coolant that is from the jacket that is around the Crt.
This liquid is very TOXIC so please ensure you have thouroughly washed your hands.
The jacket that the Crt is fitted in to is not available as spare part, The leak will be from the rubber expantion bladder as the Crt gets hot the coolant expands the excess pressure then goes in to the bladder yours will have a small split in it hence the leak.
Im afraid you will need new green Crt & new crt base socket.
This will be expensive to repair.

If there is a wide faded vertical line that is showing on the screen and a black film that shows up periodically across the screen. Does that mean that the picture screen need to be replaced?

Picture tubes are one of the last components to actually die in any CRT television. Usually the only reason they are / were changed was due to colour degradation or dead pixels. I would be looking at either the colour boards or for yoke damage. If the picture still fills the entire screen then the high voltage section and tube are still OK.
Hope this helps a bit. Cheers Bob

Purple Sanyo tv

looks like there is no green colour on the tube, maybe just a tarnished connector at he back of tube, common prob with old tubes, you can try removing the neck board fron the back of the tube, gently wiggle it and pull back it should come off then push it back, on this often cures prob where the connecting pins become tarnished, be carefull not to touch the pins on the tube or the back of the neck board, you will get a shock! only hold the neck pcb by the edges, best switch set off and unplug for a few hours first! if this doesnt work, probly one of the colour drive transistors on the neck board is dead

The microtek crt moniter is not displaying green colour.

The electron cannon from inside the tube for the green has failed, the tube and the entire monitor with it is dead - time for a new one.

I have a Samsung CT5038VC CRT TV, it was showing very well , then suddenly, the entire screen went green! you can still see, but everything is green. Please assist me in finding the solution to this...

Since picture is there, sound also mut be. The screen colour went green is your complaint. It is due to the video output stage of your TV. The fault mainly occur in the picture tube base board card. Loose or bad solderings ara always noted. There are three video output trnsistors there in the base board In some models of Samsung sets, either three individual Ics or one single Ic is used. Anyway the fault lies around this card.
You jsut open your TV, pull out the base card from the picture tube neck, care must be taken when you do, not to shake sideways or up down. Just pull it straight back, otherwise picture tube base pins or picture tube neck wiil get damaged. Before doing this check the vlotages of the three cathode pins of picture tube base. It can be done withoug detaching it out from the neck. There are three cathodes. Blue, Green and Red. In most Tvs these voltage will come near to 130 vdc or so. In your TVs case, now the green cathode voltage will be low with respect to the other two cathodes.
This may be due to a loose soldering or fault related to green cathode itsef. If transistors are used, check the green output transistors collector voltage, and compare it with the other two voltages. If Ics are used, do the same. If one Ic is used the checkings are the same.
Just resolder all the loose suspected points before replacing anything first. If it does't help, you just desolder out the green bias drive, whether it is a transitor, or Ic, whatever may be. If it is transitor, just plug it to the picturetube and switch it on without the green drive. Now you must see a different colour, a mingle of red and blue, a type of cyan. If so you can make sure that green output, whatever type it may be, is faulty. Just replace it with same type and number. Check the 2W resistors, if any used, for open, especially to the green drive transistor load resistor. Ok.

Samsung TXN203F displaying only blue and green

Well, it depends, it is one of three possible issues, 1. bad video driver on the crt board, 2. Bad Picture tube 3. Bad video processer.

Most lkely is either 1 or 2 above. If it is no 1. the repair would be reasonable probably around 90-100 dollars. Video processer is not likely but can be the issue.

The colour has gone wrong on my tv it show the the green and blue pigment but not the red. wil this be an expensive repair?

This problem could be as simple as poor solder connections on the board that sits on the back of the CRT to a defective driver transistor for the red gun to a bad picture tube. It is possible that this is an inexpensive repair (solder connection or defective transistor) or expensive (bad tube). If you can solder, try resoldering the CRT board connections and see if that resolves the problem. If not, then have a shop take a quick look. They will be able to determine whether the CRT is bad or not.
