At first the green tube was dead, there were some oil substens on the crt board and it looks like it shorted some off the components. After cleaning the board the tube came on but now the green is out off focus or something. I get the normel picture but with a green out off focus lineing around everything.
This fault is pretty bad to have,
The liquid you have mentioned is the coolant that is from the jacket that is around the Crt.
This liquid is very TOXIC so please ensure you have thouroughly washed your hands.
The jacket that the Crt is fitted in to is not available as spare part, The leak will be from the rubber expantion bladder as the Crt gets hot the coolant expands the excess pressure then goes in to the bladder yours will have a small split in it hence the leak.
Im afraid you will need new green Crt & new crt base socket.
This will be expensive to repair.

I have a Sharp Aquos LC-32BD6X out of warrenty. Turns on with picture and sound fine but after 30 or so min entire screen begins to flash white and eventually after around 60 seconds entire screen stays white for anwhere from a few min to 6-7 hours then turns back to perfect working picture again and will not happen again untill unit is turned off and back on. the sound is fine throughout the entire process. turning the tv off and back on during the white screen phase resolves the problem but only for 2 or 3 seconds and then returns to white screen. any insight into how to fix it would be greatly appricaited. thanks alot, Rory Gough

There is snapping or clicking noise coming out of the speakers on this brand new TV I just set up today. I have cable HD service. It gets louder as the volume goes up. It is on all stations regardless of HD or regular service reception.
