Why am I getting billed twice in one month for a YEAR long membership when I should be billed for only ONE?

You won't get any phone call from us Tom. You are not talking to who you think you are. We are Fixya, a self help, peer to peer help forum. We are people just like you, helping others because we can. We have no access to your accounts with the person you think you are talking to. You haven't even mentioned the company!

Sounds like you have been scammed. What you need to do is to contact the scammers and if you don't get satisfaction from them, contact your Visa Card merchant. Ask for a charge reversal, explain what happened. Then they will put the money back in your account and it will be down to the scammer to say why their charge was correct and you are wrong.

Just one final thing, double check that that final entry is not a credit against the earlier charge. That would be embarrassing :>)

You might want to edit out your phone number as there are a lot of crazy people out there. Actually, as moderator, I have done it for you.

Why do you need my visa number to download FREE apps???

We do not have apps ? We provide advice.
However what you are most likely encountering could be a free trial where they get you visa number and after a time period of free trial you get billed for the app. Or worse you subscribe to some other service in the fine print and get billed every month.
If in doubt ask the web site which is not fix ya why they need your visa number for a free app ?

PAY DECEMBER SACU VISA BILL ON LINE

Do you have an online bill pay account with your bank? That would be one way.

If not, look on the back of your VISA card for a telephone number you can call and ask for help.

I want to make a reverse payment on my debit card

One of the benefits of making purchases with a Visa card, is that you can reverse a charge if the product you ordered never arrived if it arrives damaged or if a false charge is made.

If a merchant will not reverse your charge, Visa will handle it for you, and thoroughly investigate your official dispute.

1
Return to the merchant and ask to reverse the charge to your Visa.
If the merchant won't work with you to reverse the charge, move on to Step 2.

2

Contact Visa. You will need to provide the customer service representative with the date, amount of the charge, the name of the merchant, and a reason why you want to dispute the charge.

Visa will then contact the bank of the merchant, and ask for a charge back.
3

Write a letter to Visa explaining the situation with the above information, if Visa requires you to do so. This happens in some cases.

Visa may also require your signature to pursue the charge back, especially if the merchant has breached the law in any way.
4
Contact the authorities and report the charge if the merchant charged your Visa card illegally. Visa will require you to do this, if you have not already.

I made a purchae online February5, 2011. I charged this thru my Pal Pal account ($47). I just received my Visa bill and the charge is on my bill; however, I have never received the product. I'm not sure...

You have a couple of options.

First, you should contact the vendor site through which you made the purchase (Ebay, Amazon, Etsy, etc.)

Each of these vendor sites has a process for recording (and sometimes) tracking your purchases, and they can contact the seller directly in a case like this & demand of them, "what's going on?". Sellers generally value their dependability rating, and certainly don't want to be banned from sites like Ebay and Amazon.

This alone may solve your problem. You can also contact PayPal, which has a Purchase Protection program (click here for a secure page).
Good luck!
