Creating a short cut - Computers & Internet

you can by just right click on the icon and you will see desktop short cut click on it and it will appear on desktop

Are you inquiring on "HOW TO" put a short cut on your desktop?
There are many ways to this but before performing any of this methods, ensure that your Windows Desktop icons are visible.
Simply right click on a empty space on your desktop.
Select View, make sure "Show Desktop Icon" is checked.
If its checked follow either one of the steps below:
1)
Right click on a empty area on the desktop and select "New" the followed by "Shortcut".
Click on "Browse" and select the file or program. Click "Next" followed by "Finish".
You may choose to change the Shortcut name before selecting "Finish"
2)
Go to the directory where your file or program is located.
Right click on the icon and select "Create Short cut".
A shortcut will be created in the same directory.
Select the shortcut and drag it to the desktop.
And you are done!.

Create a shortcut to it. Right click on screen and in the window that pops up, chose create short cut. In the short cut box, type bt.com --then when you click on that icon, you will be taken to that site where you can login.

LOST MAIL ICON CAN'T RETRIEVE MAIL

Probably your Short cut is Corrupted. Right click and delete it before creating a new one. Look for the actual Application in the Start....All Programs. Right Click on it and choose create short cut for creating a new one.

Try to re-install the software, else create a new short cut for that application from the applications folder like creating a short cut, maybe the problem is with the application shortcut.

You seem like a person of few words, but you did post on a HELP site which means you need to be verbose AND ask a question

open facebook with remember password
and press ctrl +s
and save that page to dasktop
it will create short cut for your face book

right click on app and selct new short cut. Paste where you want.
