SOURCE: loss of power

Loss of power after running for a while can be caused by anything from a partially clogged catalytic converter to engine overheating due to a faulty engine cooling system. Lots of other things can cause it as well.

Loss of power in drive of my jd f935

These units run a hydraulic style transmission. The loss of drive could be as simple as low oil level. There is a check plug on top of the transmission, oil level should be within 1" of the fill hole. The probable loss of drive is from wear. This would require a new transmission. Repairing these style transmissions is expensive.

check for the cooling fins around the head and block are not blocked with grass clippings/ dirt/dust as it may be tending to overheat and boiling off the fuel in the mixture

check if you have a spark when engine dies. if not, check the rpm sensor or ignition coil. both have the simptoms like you describe.

You might want to replace the crank sensor on the bell housing.
