What can you do to fix a disabled ipad2?

If your iPad has become disabled permanently, your only choice will be to reset the iPad in iTunes and restore from a backup. This may seem like punishment, but it is actually for your own protection. If someone stole your iPad and tried to unlock it, the iPad would become permanently disabled, thus keeping the person from getting access to your iPad's data.
How to Restore the iPad From iTunes
Remember to restore the iPad from the same computer you used to sync. If you are using iOS 5.0 and have iCloud set up to backup your iPad, you can also restore from the cloud. Even without restoring from a backup, you can go to the app store and install any app you have previously purchased for free.

Hope this helps a bit.

The error states file access denied.
It seems your login is not able to access that specified file
due to permission constraint.
  • Firstly disable UAC.
  • If you have mcaffee installed or norton, disable access protection.
  • If you created a system restore point with the True Crypt image mounted, you won't be able to restore back to that point. It needs to be unmounted before creating the restore point.
  • If you use Panda Internet Security you need to uninstall it completely in order to be able to restore to a previous point.
Before trying the above solutions you can try the following that exploit a bug on windows:
  1. turn off System Restore,
  2. Shutdown,
  3. Power Up,
  4. enable System Restore and
  5. try to Restore.
Best of luck.

If you own an iPod touch, you have the option to set a password, which Apple calls a passcode, to protect your data.
Anyone who attempts to access your iPod, after unlocking it or turning it on, will require the passcode to do so.
However, if you forget your passcode or incorrectly enter it, you will eventually see an alert that your iPod touch has become disabled.
To unlock your iPod touch after forgetting the passcode, and still access your content, you must connect it to the computer with which you last synced it.

Connect your iPod touch to the computer with which you last synced the music player.
Launch iTunes if it does not automatically open.
Select your iPod touch under the devices list, and click the "Summary" tab in iTunes.
Click "Restore" and, when prompted, click the "Back Up" button to save a back up of your iPod touch in iTunes.

Click "Restore" when prompted, after the back up saves. After restoring, click "Ok."
Choose the most recent back up from the drop down list on the "Set Up Your iPod" screen.

Click the "Continue" button to restore your iPod touch.

How to enable disable ipod touch

I take it that it has been disabled due to failure to insert the correct passcode.

You will need to restore your device using the computer which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).

If you do not have access to that computer if you restore on a different computer you'll be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but the data will be wiped. Hope this helps.

To restore 3G, follow the same steps, and select "Automatic". This setting will remain in effect until you change it. Cycling the power does not reset this.
