SOURCE: Refregirator problem

first thing is you need to clean out the fridge and throw away all spoiled food, next you have to defrost the freezer, unplug the unit and let it defrost overnight, place a towel on the bottom of the freezer to soak up the water from defrosting, you can help the defrost process by using a blowdryer
this will speed up the defrost process
good luck

SOURCE: Washer won't start, lights all

The board would be the likely problem if the switch is good. To double check the switch check it for ohms, it should be around 1500 ohms no lower than 1400 if it is the switch is bad if it checks good replace the main control. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/washercontrolboard.html

SOURCE: door won't open. wash

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
(No guarantee but try this!)
I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my complete guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
-------------------------------------

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning!

Good luck!

Why dosen't Beko WMB 61631s washing machine work?

sounds like a software problem.
Try unplugging for 2 hours, then replugging and starting the cycle.
The long unplug is to drain memory voltage.

My Washer Is Locked!!!!!!

Hello kandlelady_1 - Let's try reprogramming the washer by flipping the household circuit breaker off or unplugging it. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn the washer back on. If these troubleshooting steps prove ineffective, you may wish to contact a professional as the unit may possibly be experiencing a communication error with the control board, faulty door lock switch or a potential wiring failure.

H E L P !!! My oven made some noises this morning when my husband was wiping down the front of the oven door. Noise sounded like the "oven was going into clean mode"....but then only lasted...

Hello.

Please apply the solution this way!

To close an oven door when it's in the locked position and the door is open, press and hold the oven door light switch while following these simple steps:
  • Program the oven to self-clean.
  • Wait 20 seconds.
  • Cancel self-clean.
  • Wait 20 seconds.
To self-clean your wall oven, follow these simple steps:
  • Remove the oven racks.
  • Set your oven control to "Clean."
  • Select a cleaning time or choose a cleaning level: light, medium or heavy. For typical cleaning needs, we recommend that you select a cleaning time of three hours or choose the medium setting.
  • Select "Start." (To set a delayed start, see your Use & Care Guide.)

Note: For safety reasons, the oven door will remain locked until the oven cools down. When it is sufficiently cool, the door will automatically unlock.

Thanks for using fixya.

The remte control key is not responding with the car

Hi abdumi0f,

Firstly, open your glove box and make sure Valet Mode is not enabled, if it is not, follow these steps.

Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open.
Step 2: Lock and unlock the driver’s door using the power door lock switch on the door.
Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.
Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition.
Step 5: Open and close the driver’s door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step).
Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors.
Step 7: Press any button on remote #1 twice. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.
Step 8: Press any button on remote #2 (etc.) twice. Each time the ECU will respond by locking & unlocking the doors.
Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks. You're done!

Hope this helps,

Door lock light

Hello,
I just had the same problem. The door lock wires have clips so unless you uncliped them that would not be the problem. It should be listed in the reset error code section, but I would suggest performing the system error check first before clearing the error.
Step 1 go to http://www.frigidare.com
Step 2 click on CUSTOMER SERVICE on top of page
Step 3 go to PRODUCT MANUALS and click on DOWNLOADS
Step 4 type in MODEL NUMBER and click on search
Step 5 your error code information is in the TECH DATA file there you can perform a full system check PLEASE READ ALL WARNINGS POSTED
Step 6 save all PDF files to a new folder name it FRIGIDARE for easy availbility.
Thank you and good luck.
