Question about Tomtom Go 920T GPS Receiver
I have a similar problem in that the screens automatically keep jumping on my tom tom 920. I have been contacting their support in vain. Have almost gotten to the point of reformatting the device.
If anyone has any solutions please let me know.
I had this problem. I think it's a contact problem in some part of the touching screen. I rubbed my finger, pressing a little bit, trough all the screen surface and never it happened again.

There is little or no support for TOMTOM unfortunately. They want you to send it to them so they can extract your teeth in costs.
reformatting may not fix it as its a fault on the main board, (loose screen ribbon connection) openin unit voids warranty and there are many tiny pieces that fall out if you are not exceptionally skilled or careful.
So there is not a lot of choice here
