I would assume the Bose speakers either have a 3.5mm TRS connector, in which case you just need a cable with that plug on either end. If it has RCA plugs (red and white) you can get a cable that adapts it to 3.5mm.

Paired is not connected. Connecting is the next step after pairing. Then make sure that the ilive speaker is set as the dudio output device.

That happens sometimes with BT. Just reconnect. This is annoying, but the phone and/or ILive don't follow up standards that are not in place (yet)
