The bottom gas oven clicks when trying to turn it on but won't ignite. We've tried cleaning out the jets but it's made no difference. Can you offer any advice to remedy this?

SOURCE: Kemore Gas oven - trouble igniting

Hi Deeg, there was a service flash regarding this problem. The bake burner and bake igniter have been modified to assure consistent oven ignition and performance. The number of ports on the burner have increased located at the electrode tip. The electrode shield has also been modified. This repair should be covered under warranty. The kit part number is 8190618 for your information. If your serial number ranges from RK01 through RR11, this is your problem. I would call Sears and request service. Catriver.

Make sure propane is on and getting to your stove burners ok, first, then try switching it back on. If it fails to ignite, shut switch off and try a couple of times, if still no ignition, get back to me.

Oven wont light keeps making the clicking sound smell of burning and smoke appears grill working normally?

Sounds like the jets at the base where the gas ignites are blocked. Try cleaning those out with a metal skewer or similar

How do you know the ignitor is fine? The ignitor for the oven is different than that of the burners. Rather than clicking, the oven ignitor will glow red. If when you turn of the oven you don't see a source of red light coming from under the oven bottom your ignitor is bed.

Frigidaire Gas Self Cleaning Oven door open in lock position

Hello ericndiana6b - Was the unit in self-clean mode? Try pressing and holding the "Clear/Off" button to stop any operation of the EOC. Do this at the same time while pushing and hold the light switch to the left of the door lock. Usually this will trick the oven into unlocking the door. If it is ineffective, try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and redo the steps. If door continues to maintain locked while open, the unit may possibly have a faulty door latch or a communication problem with the EOC. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.

I have the Toro 7.0 TP mower - ready start. I've

well there could be a number of problems the 2 things i would do is clean out the bowl and clean the jets on the carb clean the bowl first and if that does not work clean the jets before u do that make sure to shut the gas off to clean the bowl u have to unscrew the one bolt on the bottom of the bowl then take electric parts cleaner or starter fluid and spray the whole bowl with it then put it back together the way it came off then turn the gas on and try it if it still wont start turn the gas off take the carb off and the little screws on the carb turn them in and count how many times they went in then remember that number. unscrew the screws and spray some starter fluid or parts cleaner in there and screw the screw in all the way then unscrew the screw how many turns u remembered and do the other ones then turn the gas on if it still does not start take out the spark plug get a lighter or a propane torch an get the oil and **** out of the tip of it be careful don't touch it it will be hot let it cool down then put it back in and try again GOOD LUCK!

I have a 95 Road King that isn't running right, it

Backfiring out of the exhaust is usually an ignition problem. Unburned fuel is getting into the exhaust system because it's not being ignited in the cylinder. When the engine fires on that cylinder again, it ignites the raw fuel in the exhaust causing the pop that people call a backfire. I'd investigate the ignition system. Connect a timing light to each of the spark plug wires if it has a single fire ignition or either of them if the ignition system is the stock dual fire. Start the engine and watch the timing light to tell if the engine is missing as the light will miss a flash.

Good Luck

Oven won't work

You cannot afford to take chances with gas of any kind, I must first suggest that you get a registered expert to sort out your problem. because you need to know and be sure that there is gas in your bottle, that you have the correct regulator and pressure, that the oven is set up for bottled gas as the jets are different sizes to normal town gas but all these measures can have disasterous effects if you get it wrong

Gas range (oven)won't lite (gas broiler works fine)

Sounds like an ignitor problem or possibly a dirty orifice. Model #'s are usually on the frame behind the bottom drawer.
