SOURCE: Stalls when engage blades in forward, but cuts fine in reverse

Did you try to disengage the safety feature that should shut the tractor off when the blades are engaged and the tractor is placed in reverse? I believe that it is located under the shift leaver

SOURCE: Cub Cadet engine runs but, also will not go in forward or reverse

you didnt say what model this is, but i assume its hydrostatic because it has a drive shaft. is the hydrostatic unit filled with oil¿ if its ok, check the linkage from the pedal to the rearend (hydrostatic drive) make sure its not broken or loose.. if that l@@ks ok, check both ends of the drive shaft making sure the couplers are not broke and the drive shaft is ok. hope this helps.

Check the drive belt. It has probably broken or has come loose.

I have a cub cadet Gt1554 with the 27 hp kohler command. Everything runs great but it doesn't have near the speed I thought is should have. Is there a simple fix to this

It is only going to go about 5 miles per hour. If you wanted something faster you should have gotten a zero turn mower. You can get it to go a little faster by untightening the clamp on the engine that holds the throttle cable and moving the cable forward a little. Most mower engines are set up to only run at about 2/3 throttle from the factory.
